Just purchased my first boat, the 120, from the Cleveland Boat Show. Dealer to add bimini top. It is a 2005, end of year special, with 4 stroke yamaha. Dealer to add handle to engine so this 5'2" lady can handle trim. Does anyone know why I would have to go to a 2 stroke replacement engine in order to get electronic trim? I personally prefer a 4 stroke. Dealer says it has to do with transom height versus motor length. 2006 has upgraded and different transom ht. now. So, were all previous model years only 2 strokes with electronic trim?
Well, anyway, I watched friends with the 120 in Marathon, Fla. hauling in huge catches from their boat a month ago. Hoping my envy will be assauged with my own little triumph excursions this coming season. I have plans to carry it on a 16' flatbed trailer with a motorscooter trike beside it, behind our motorhome. Will try to supply pictures when available. Peace, health, and happiness to all my fellow 120 fans on this new post. Patty. |
