Question What is this part for?

I have a 2005 150CC w/50hp Yamaha. When I picked up my boat in February, they gave me a small plastic bag with two transom threaded plugs, two livewell snap-lock plugs and this black plastic "thingy". I have no idea what it is for. (See pictures below)
Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

That's a Doodle pin holder, but you got the left handed one, the 150 is suposed to have the right handed one.

It looks like part of the flapper assembly from the tank on a toilet. I know they pack a lot into those 150CCs but I didn't know they came with a head too!!! Sorry Albaris, I know that didn't help. I would check with your dealer...haven't seen anything on my 170 that resembles it. Please let us know when you do find out.

Thanks for your input. I also posted these same pictures on BoaterEd.com, and although I got over 1100 views, and about 60 amusing responses, I was not able to get a definitive answer.
I guess I will just keep it, because I know the minute I throw it away, I'll find out that I need it and it can't be replaced.

Thanks again.

PROBLEM SOLVED

I finally figured out what that part is for. It is the top pull ring for my oil fill tank on the Yamaha 50 2 stroke with oil injection. Without it you cannot open the oil tank in order to fill it.
