It looks like part of the flapper assembly from the tank on a toilet. I know they pack a lot into those 150CCs but I didn't know they came with a head too!!!
Sorry Albaris, I know that didn't help. I would check with your dealer...haven't seen anything on my 170 that resembles it. Please let us know when you do find out.

Thanks for your input. I also posted these same pictures on BoaterEd.com, and although I got over 1100 views, and about 60 amusing responses, I was not able to get a definitive answer.
I guess I will just keep it, because I know the minute I throw it away, I'll find out that I need it and it can't be replaced. Thanks again. |

PROBLEM SOLVED I finally figured out what that part is for. It is the top pull ring for my oil fill tank on the Yamaha 50 2 stroke with oil injection. Without it you cannot open the oil tank in order to fill it. |
