Fuel Tank Vent Location(s)?

Where's our fuel tank vent??

Is it solely thru the filler cap, or is there an under-deck vent off the tank?

The vent openings in the cap look pretty small, compared to the vent hose diameter leading to the cap...and compared to the thru-hull vents I've seen on other boats.

Fuel Vent

The Fuel Tank vent is combined in the filler cap. This is a COTS Part from Perko, I believe the vent comes out in the top of the fill neck and not seprately.

Fuel Vent

COTS is Commercial Off The Shelf.

If you look at the inside of the top of the filler port, there is a shelf about a 1/4" down where the neck get smaller. Just above this on the side is the actual vent opening. The tank then vent through the hole you saw in the cap. At any rate, yes, the vent in the fill assembly is the only vent.
