Thanks for the photos, armychap. Looks awesome. Quick question... Is the backrest useful? If you sat up there could you reach the throttle and steering wheel?

I'll chime in here with this for what its worth: the 06 model has a notched flip flop helmseat standard. With the backrest all the way forward, its kind of like a leaning post. Close enough for me anyway.

That notched flipflop is a nice little improvement imo.

The back rest is OK. It is not primary. The rod holders on the end of the leaning post is what is of most value to me. The back rest is good when you want to use it. The foot rest makes is very practical and you can reach the steering wheel. I do not plan to use the back rest a whole lot unless I am just out riding.
