Spring maintenance 170 CC Electrical

Many electrical grimlins to resolve when getting out of storage for "06 season. There were some hints of problems with the running lights last year. Most use in salt water with splash and spray.
Replaced all circuit breakers and dash switches due to green growth and worse. Had to wire around a failed connection for the anchor light that showed failure through the boat and Center Console harness jack. This is not to complain, very pleased with ownership of this boat. Just maintenance after use over time.

How long did that take you? How difficult of a job was it? Any suggestions for anyone else thinking of undertaking the same project? Any pictures?

It did take some time to trace the bad connection on the harness jack. Using a meter, I broke the wire on each end and kept following till I found the break. The replacement of the switches and circuit breakers was not a big amount of time. Opened it up and saw the green and checked breakers, finding two of four bad. Would not reset. Bought three new flip switches with rubber covers from Lowe's. The three position and the circuit breakers from Merritt by mail. Total time estimated actual hands on 5-6 hours much of which included sanding the wire connections and/or replacing as needed and rewiring the new parts. 2-3 days waiting for the mail to get the parts.
