Mounting track on 170CC

I plan to change the setup of my downrigger on my 170CC. I want to use a mounting track. It is 3-1/2" wide. Will it fit on my gunwale? I am unable to measure mine since it is at the lake and I will not be there until Thursday. Does anyone have a mounting track on their 170?
Thanks in advance for your help.

Pip

I've got "Bert's Custom" tracks on my 170CC. They fit on the gunwales just fine...but your not going to like digging out the foam if you are going to bolt them. Togglers may be the answer, but clearance and interior foam level will be an issue. Good Luck.

Thanks a bunch Warren. Now I can place my order. "Bert's Custom" is exactly what I plan on using. I assume you used a 4" plate for your access? And after doing it you would use the toggles?

I had Tite-Lok tracks installed on my 2006 215 Chaos. I only installed two 6" tracks for mounting Cannon downriggers on the boat. I haven't picked up the boat yet but you can see a photo of the Tite-lok track installed in this thread:

First look at my new 215 Chaos tomorrow!

We also have Tite-Lok tracks installed on my 2005 210 CC. I have four 6-inch tracks and four 18-inch tracks. We also have the white inserts for all the tracks.

We mount to the Tite-Lok tracks, two Cannon Uni-Troll downriggers with the Tite-Lok Downrigger Mounts.

From Vector Teknologies, and for mounting in the Tite-Lok tracks, we haveSingle Spring-Loc Rod Holders with the Flip-Loc Upgrade.

I got my ideas from Little Casino. In the "Articles" section, he wrote an excellent piece on how he set up his downriggers.
