Need Help Running Wires!!

Hope Someone Can Help!! I Have A 2002 170 Cc And Tonight. Well I Should Be Honest, I Spent All Day Tring To Put A Front Fishfinder On My Boat. I Can't Get Trough The Foam On The Left Side Near The Front Seat. I'm So Close But, Can't Get The Last 8 Or 10 Inches. I Ran A Elec. Fish Trough The Mounting Hole And Also, Back From The Front Factory Acess Circle Panel. With No Luck. If Anyone Has Any Tips I'm All Ears..... (bad Part About It Is That I Promissed To Take My Seven Year Old Girl Out Fishing Tonight, All I Heard Is That "dad You Always Say You Can Fix Anything" I Guess We All Have Our Weakness. Thank You In Advance!!!

Suchfun,
I have the 2003 170CC and on the starboard side there is a tube that runs from the center console to the front and comes out at the access plate. Here's the picture:

I'm not sure if the 2002 model has this tube or not. Also in the port side (if found this when I installed my rod holders) there is a tube that runs under the gunwales about 3 inches from the top. I believe you can access it from the access plate near the fuel tank fill area. If neither of these options work for you, you may want to consider installing an access plate in the trouble area. Other than that, I'm out of ideas. I hope this helps. Let us know what you come up with.

p.s. You can always take your daughter fishing even without the fishfinder installed. Some things have to take priority...and they grow up too fast to miss an opportunity.

Suchfun,

I have a 2002 17bass and I installed a fish finder on my bow. There is a tube behind the access plate just like cagrove is showing. You should have one too; that and a fishtape and you are ready to pull wires.
