02' 170 CC VHF installation

I finally installed my Vhf in my 02, 170 CC in September. Thought you might like to see the photos. I rarely fish so I disconnected the livewell pump and wired the vhf to the switch so that I'd have some breaker protection.

MTTY, email me if you're having a problem loading the pics or you can email them to me and I'll post for you. But let me know if there is a problem here.

Mr Moretoday,

I had to run the wire from my VHF direct to the battery to get enought power. I tried to wire up behind the dash board and the radio worked but when I tried to transmit it wasn't getting enought volts. Are you having any problems transmitting?

Greenapple, I've had no problems with transmitting so far. Granted I'm not one to sit around and chat on the VHF but transmissions i've made so far have been trouble free.
