wiring question

I am trying to install a big foot switch for my trolling motor but do not know which set of wires are to the trolling motor. When I removeed the front port hole there are two sets. One has two wires and are thicker and the other has three wires and are thinner. Which one is to the trolling motor and which one is to the tilt switch. I tried to remove the plug in plate but it is epoxied on and i don't want to mess with it.

trolling motor

The two larger wires are for tje trolling motor. If it is wired same as my 170 07 cc the red or pos wire is on the no one pos on the plug and black or nev is on the number two pos. the thin wires are as you stated the trim.

I see your from charlotte, if your looking for a battery I would like to suggest Stans battery. Stan sells used computor batterys that list new arround 200 to $270. the batterys are rotated about once a year and are jell. They cost 25 bucks and Stan said any problems he'll replace them. I get Three good days on one charge. He sold about a hundred to a local bass club and that is how I found out about him.
