Triumph hull distorting

I'm considering purchasing something called a Jet Dock. This is a floating boat dock that you can drive right up onto. Has anyone had any experience with these and Triumph's polymer hull? I have heard that if the trailer doesn't properly mate with the hull shape, the hull will distort. Is this true? The floating dock bed is suppose to be universal, but I would like to hear from someone with first-hand knowledge.

MrCrab1770, please use the “Search” tab at the top of the page and see what you find.

You are correct, when the boat is out of the water, it MUST be supported correctly. Without the correct support, in my opinion you are looking for some big trouble, more expenses, and heartache. With the correct support, you will not have these problems.

Just an idea, but others have duplicated their trailer bunks on boat lifts and have not reported any problem’s.

Good luck on your search for information. I do agree that the JetDock sounds like a GREAT idea and it must be less expensive than a lift. I bet many others would also like the JetDock if it will work with our plastic boats.

In many respects it amounts to what we want out of our boat. I personally want the softer ride that plastic gives me. The ride is just one of the many features that sold us on a plastic boat.
