Accessories for 170CC-New owner

Hi all,
Great site!
I just purchased an '06 170CC and am looking to purchase a cover for it. I live in Maine so would prefer a durable one as I have no means to put it under cover for the winter. Also would like some info on motor covers. It has a Yamaha 75HP four stroke. I have yet to take it out on it's first run (since my buying it) but still would like to see what others out there are covering their boat and motors with. Thanks in advance for any info you can give me. I know I'll be asking more questions once I get my feet (boat) wet!

Welcome, I also live in Maine and have 2006 170cc. I used a cover from Hamilton Marine last year and it worked fine. This year it looks like I just took it out of the box. Where in maine are you. I'm in Wiscasset.

I ordered my cover from Cabelas. Very sturdy and shed snow and rain like a duck's back. It has a sewn in cover for the motor as well. I hope this helped.

Thanks guys for the info. Much appreciated. Elroy, I'm in Auburn. Will use my boat fishing the inland lakes and also out on Casco Bay for stripers and blues. My hope is to try and make it to the Kennebec too this summer.

Just took delivery of 170 CC with a 60hp Yamaha 4-stroke. Went out the same afternoon and landed 6 blues, 25"-29".
I am looking for a flip seat cover and a center console cover for in-season storage. Can anyone point me to a source?
Thanks

Iam also looking for a center console cover for my 2006 170cc. Overtons have some as do Cabelas, BassPro and many other online stores. To many to choose from.

I just bought a console cover from Overtons. I'll let you know how it is when I get it. Here's the site. Good luck, Bob http://www.amazon.com/Titan-Gladiato...675395&sr=1-17

Thanks for the info. I had looked at the on-line products, but they didn't seem to quite fit. I would be interested to know how the Overton's product works.
Thanks again.

I finally ended up purchasing a full boat cover from Boater's World. Since the boat will be parked outside under the trees, I figure it would be the best protection.

I just got back from a fishing trip past the artic watershed in Ontario Canada. Towed my 170cc with the console cover and the rubber liner on the inside wore off leaving pieces all over my boat, what a mess. I will contact the company and see what they will do. The price of gas up there was only $5.37 a gallon. It cost $175-200 to fill my suburban but well worth it.
