170cc New owner & baittank question

Hi all,

I'm a new 170 cc owner. I love this little rig! The ride is really dry in chop and she handled well out in the kelp. I'm interested in adding a second bait tank...Has anyone out there tried this? Thanks! JDC

Where were you thinking of putting it? I guess you could convert one of the front fish boxes or maybe convert the cooler under the seat. I'm sure it can be done...just depends on how much work and $$ you want to put into it. If you do decide to do it please take lots of before, during, and after photos to share with everyone else.

Well my first thought was to run it off the current tank by plumbing a t value in. I'm afraid the bait will get beat up if I used the front fish boxes. The cooler under the seat is another good option...I'll post photos once I figure it out. Thanks!

I have seen where you can buy self contained bait tanks built into 5 gal pails, there were also different sizes. I'll look tonight at work and see if I can find them.
