Hi All,

I am looking for a 17'cc, and live in Temecula. There does not seem to be many owners on the West Coast, especially in Southern California. For the money, the Triumph seems to be a great boat.

I am looking for a boat that can be used at both freshwater lakes (mainly Skinner and Diamond Valley) and to fish the local bays and perhaps local kelps.

Just wanted to say high, and if anyone has a line on a local 17'cc or can recommend a good dealer, I am open.

Thanks

Pete

Hi Pete,

I have the 17' CC. I bought it at AA Marine in Vista. I like the boat quite a bit and the dealer was pretty good as well. The 170 makes a great all-around So Cal skiff. I've taken it to the LJ kelp beds, the big bay in SD, a local lake and the River. I think it might even make a Coronado Islands voyage if I can get a good day (small swell and wind under 10 knots).

The only draw backs are the bait tank (too small for 1/2 scoop), and the freeboard (a bit low when on the outside in slop).

Good luck!

John

Hi John,

What year is your boat? Do you mind me asking what it cost you? Trying to see if either of the local dealers will deal

Thanks
