Level Battery compartment
On my 2004 170 Bass, the starting battery is in the right rear compartment ( starboard) sitting at a list since the bottom of this compartment is not very level. The bottom is really two different levels.
Half is one level and then there is a drop to another level. Has anyone built a battery stand/support for this battery. I already use a battery box but it sortof sits at an angle. I just installed a second bilge pump to be used as a functional backup in case the original fails. Getting this battery level would be a good next project. Any ideas. Thanks in advance. Hey Dave
![]() How about something along these lines that somebody came up with for the rear of a 190 using PVC pipe and shelving material ![]() http://www.triumphowners.net/photos/...php/photo/2366

Hi Dave
You know that the pvc and shelving idea just may work. I searched for battery compartment prior to my post and I must have missed that one. I'll give it a try. Thanks Dave K |
