Hey Witto,
I would have to disagree with you! I personally was happy with the price I paid for my 170DC. I feel the price needs to be compatible with what we get here in Aust. and in saying that I was happy to pay the $ for a awesome boat with all the features. Could not find another boat that could fulfill all my needs and look as good as it does. I have had it for over 12 Months and people still think it brand new. So I guess you pay for what you get, LOL and "I GOT IT"

Cheers
Ozy Mark

P.S I hope you happy with your new Triumph, when ya get it

OK Mate, I agree that there is still value for money in the Triumph range here in Aus.

But, I have quotes that vary quite a lot from various dealers trying to get a Triumph sale back when I ordered a 170 ... that was 12 months ago, but when it arrived the wife hated it (the lack of freeboard and zero wind protection) so we passed on it. One of the dealers got in trouble from the importer for the price he quoted me!

We saved our pennies and are now getting the 195 (with wind protection and more freeboard) LOL

Thanks for your good wishes, i'm certain my new Triumph will be great

P.S. My other boats are Polycrafts

They are a more "industrial" boat than the Triumphs are, but both are very strong and ride better than glass.

This is the new 4.8m (under 16 foot) rated to 80hp

Whitto,

Those two images that you linked to are not allowed to be linked from the website they are hosted on. If you could download the images from that site and upload them to the gallery here or email them to me and I can upload them for you, then we could link to them from our gallery.

Whitto, It would be nice to see Triumph offer some other colors besides white, although the white is not bad. The thing that I'm not crazy about is the fact that Triumph is offering a boat that that is somewhat plain. At least the boat that I have, a 2003 190 Bay, has a decal on the side that gives the boat a little character. If I were to buy another boat, I would still go with a plain Triumph over a glass boat. I would like to see Triumph offer a few more options in the appearance of their boats, whether it be the option to order a boat with different decals, or different colors.

I think Triumph is trying to establish a consistent brand. I like the raised Triumph emblem of the past couple years. I did hate to see them discontinue the Chaos brand. I bought one of the last ones and I've loved the tan/cream color of the Chaos, especially with the black power coat T-top, etc. We all have different tastes of course.

jack7265,
You can make your 190 bay look like a Snicker Candy Bar like the SKA king mackeral boats if you go to one of the decal makers. I'm like NCangler.I like the raised letters on the newer Triumphs.I had a 2004 170CC with the red decal around the brand name. I removed it and thought it looked better. The older decals seemed to date the boats. If you knew what color each year had you knew exactly the age of the boat. The way they have them now a 2007 looks just like the newer 2008. To each his own. I guess thats why they make options on boats and cars.
