Aussie Style 170DC

Hi all,
First time user so I thought I would show you how we do these boats in Australia. I needed a boat I could use for tournament fishing / saltwater bay fishing / and family ski boating. WOW! I found it. The dealer makes a modified split bow rail for elec motors 2B fitted, MotorGuide 75Lb 24V wireless trolling motor, Fully carpeted plush ribbed rubber back Marine includes front cast deck, front live wells and rear seats (don't like to walk on padded cushions), Front Eagle sounder/trolling motor, Lowrance LCX25C Combo Main, GME DVD MP3 radio CD player + 4 speakers, Navman 7200 VHS Radio, Custom left console for Radios & switches, Plumbed left live well, Custom flush mounted Nav lights, 2 X 95AMP/Hr Deep cycle Apollo Batteries mounted under left console, Battery isolation S/W. Ski Pole, think thats about it LOL. I feel I now have an excellent combo boat that keep myself and the family Happy.

WOW, your dealer really knows how to do some nice work. Thanks for sharing.

Maybe some of the Triumph dealers in the States could take lessons.

Ozy Mark,
That is the best work I have seen on a 170DC Triumph. Your dealer and you took advantage of all of the space on your boat and used it well. You should really enjoy your toy. Thanks for sharing with us. Can't wait for the world to turn upside down so we'll be down under and our summer will get here. I'm sick of watching my boat sit in the back yard on a trailer. I did get to go out about ten miles last weekend and catch a few sharks, which was all I could find. Felt good. Ocean was slick as glass. Have fun!!

Thumbs up

Excellent!
Tell me more about the carpet... Is it snaped in so you can clean under it? How hot does it get on your feet in direct sunlight say if you are barefoot?

Hi All,
Thanx for the kind replies. I first set boat up just over a year ago and I didnt like standing on the padded cushions while fishing. Also when I go out in Moreton Bay my Fiancee likes to lay down for 30-60 Minutes. this then gives me an easy 8-10Hr fishing day and a Happy Woman LOL. I found the floor a little slippery when wet with shoes on and a little uncomfortable in bare feet (sissy LOL ). Answer was to buy awesome carpet. All the carpet is Plush ribbed / rubber backed / fully shaped and edge bound. The floor carpet is cut around consoles and has two hole for the seats. with the ladder back seats you can push lever to rotate and just lift them off. Being rubber backed it adds a little weight and also stops the carpet slipping. On the front deck and seat the pieces are edge bound (trimmed) and have had Stainless push clips added. Front deck uses front 2 clips from padded cushion and added 2 at rear corners. Live well carpet uses rear clips and added 2 at front corners etc. Result is a very soft cushioned ride thats easy to remove for cleaning .It can get a little hot but being full marine carpet and water all around you LOL splash. The only downside is that being rubber backed, it doesnt allow the water to drain thru as quick as standard carpet. At end of day lift all carpet out, hang on clothes line , hose off. TOO EASY.But it stays put and doesn't blow up. took a picture for you as well Putershark. Going Boatings upholsters did the carpet as well as Spash screens. Very Pro! CRIMAR30 I added photos of the display demo boat with his logos for him and the My boat on its maiden voyage.

I really like the splash guards up front. Have you ever seen a 195cc with them at your dealer? If so I wonder if there would be any chabce of getting some photo's of them.
