Brand New 170cc has arrived

Thank you all for the input regarding My dilema after Evinrude postponed delivery of the 60hp E-tec I really wanted that 60hp, 80lbs less and plenty of torque for my needs .BUT in the end I chose the 75 over the 50 and took delivery today up in Bath, Me@ BFC Marine.120 miles from home but Howie made the transaction very smooth and satisfying. We added Bimini top, front cushion and diving platform all for the wife( she is pleased)the boat was very clean and the motor looked very good, yes. I added a compass and fish finder
We drift a lot while fly fishing in Ipswich bay and surrounding rivers and I like to be reminded when I start running out of water.Anyway thanks for the input and I will be checking back often. Wheres the spell check and grammar link?

me too

I got my 170CC with E-TEC 75 HP from Howie last month. It was also a pleasant transaction.

Congrats on the new boat

The spell and grammer checks are locted in Microsoft Word (which flavor you have) then just copy and paste your (or use CTRL+A then CTRL+C then CTRL+V for you keyboard guys like me ) your final note into your postings.

Works very well...

Tight Lines!

Isn't it Ctrl+C to copy and Ctrl+V To Paste? That is my setup.

Yep, my bad... I hit those keys a 1000 times each day and don't even think about them...

Here again after a trip to the ER this past Sunday night from a fully extended bungee cord that slipped out of my hand hit me square in the face and eye (that dropped me like a shot Elephant) I am supprised that I even remember my name right now. I now look like I went a few rounds with Ali for sure

I'm lucky though that I still have (much less still works) my right eye from what all the Doctors have told me this week, and it brings new meaning to the word "thumped" for sure...

Thanks!
Dave

Good you still have 2 functioning eyes. I think it would be hard to fish and do other stuff with on eye. I know someone who was shot with a Champagne Bottle cork in the eye. Not Fun

Hey keep us posted on how those E-tecs do, other forums I have been on aren't sold on them yet. They say the technology is still to new for them.
