New 170 Bass

Is there a chance the 170 bass or something like it will be in the 2006 line-up. I really like the layout and will primarily be bass and flat fishing. Plus with the roplene technology I think in my mind the newer the better since it is always improving. But if they don't that will start a whole new set of posts. Would love to see a different model offered for fresh/crossover fishing.

According to the Triumph website there is no 170 Bass model for 2006. We have a 2004 170 Bass and use it exactly as you have stated, for fresh/crossover fishing. We have caught everything from pike in Canada, stripers in the Cheapeake Bay, to bluefish along the New Jersey Shore. It is no problem to pull a waterskier behind this boat with our 70 Yamaha. It is an easily trailerable, versitile, tough little boat. You may want to consider finding a used model.
