gas smell under center console

Is it normal to smell gas under the center console? Possible causes?

May I suggest you read the following post on this subject. If it is gas, you need to see your dealer ASAP. Most of us have found this to be the smell that the Ropelene put off. Just let it air. You might also run a "Search" on the word "smell" or "gas" and find other postings on this subject.

I've had my 170CC for three years now. There is a sticker just behind the fuel fill that states " Inspect fuel filler connections annually" , or something to that effect, and an inspection plate just below it. Pull it off and see what's behind it . You never know???????????????Mine were loose.
