Need a forum 170 Bass owners

Hello,

I'd like to suggest you add a forum for 170 Bass owners like me. Triumph does not make this model anymore, but I own one, and would like to meet online with other 170 Bass owners to discuss issues or whatever. The 170 CC is very different from my boat, and a number of issues don't apply.

Thanks,

woodNfish

No not really,

I would much rather those all go into the 170 section (at least for now) to help save on some of the time for us spent sorting and moving posts. This way the “Knowledge Base” aspect of this great web site does not get lost, which would then force people to use the site search tool just to find anything…

As long as one is mindful of their titles when they make a posting like we started with the “Logic Boat Section” in this thread

http://www.triumphowners.org/forums/showthread.php?t=546

Then both your eyes and the site search tool will both work faster and return much greater results for your keyword searches. This comes in realy handy both for our new members when looking for help, and for our older members from having to answer the same questions over and over again Trust me, that time is much better spent in the chat room covering topics in real time.

Thanks much!
Dave

I'll post some pictures, but I'm not sure when

I'll post some pictures, but I'm not sure when. I have some modifications to show off.

My only objection to putting my posts in the 170 section is it has been focused on the center console. How about just making it the 170 section? Triumph made single console, dual console and center console 170s. Who knows what they will come up with in the future-a 170 cuddy?

My boat looks like a single console 170, but Triumph added a trolling motor and fish finder, and I upgraded to the largest engine I could put on it - a 75hp. I like my boat. It's a good boat for an occasional klutz like me. I don't htink fiberglass would survive some of the things I do.

I have a 2004 170 Bass and I also was disappointed not to find an area specific to that model. I have very much like my boat . I fish tournaments and for the last 2 years it has been great now I have upgraded to a Stratos bass boat because Triumph does not make a larger model to support Bass fisherman/women. I will be posting mine for sale which will include many upgrades such as a 24 volt Motor Guide 60 lb trolling motor, Humminbird Matrix 67 fishfinder with GPS. I will be posting it for sale so if anyone knows anyone interested in purchasing my boat shoot me an e-mail @ catchrelease@cox.net
