Skiing w/ 170 CC w/ 60 hp 4 stroke Yamaha

I am contemplating buying the above boat. Do any of you have experience using it for skiing, either w/ 2 skis or slalom? (Of course this would not be the main use of the boat).

drljh,
I have a 2004 170CC with 60hp Yamaha 4 stroke. I love the set up that I have. I have pulled my son on his surf board; (wakeboarding). I have also pulled a tube with good results. If skiing or towing others was going to be more than 10% of what I used it for I would move up to the 75hp 4 stroke. I usually fish with only 2 adults in the boat. The 60 hp is perfect for that. The 75hp 4 stroke is probably less than $1000 more. I doubt if you could measure the difference in the fuel consumption. If I bought the same boat again (which I would) I would get the 75hp 4 stroke just to have the extra power if and when I wanted/needed it. My wife would think I'm crazy. She loves our 170cc just the way it is.

Dave K,
My prop on my 2004 60hp 4 stroke Yamaha is a 10 X 15 G. It was the prop that came on the boat new. It seems a perfect match for what I use the boat for. I can turn 5600 rpms and WOT is 36 mph (GPS). Hole shot is good.
