Help - seat bolts falling out!

I hope someone in this forum can help me-the seat cushion bolts on my boat keep falling out. I have tried to put them back in the same hole, but can't find anything inside the cushion to screw them into. I wonder what they were screwed into when the seat was made(?).

The bolts are all stainless steel with philips heads about 1 1/2" long.

Any ideas on how I get them back into the seats?

Thanks,

woodNfish

17bass

Hi Sam,

I have a 2002 17bass and the bolts are falling out of all the seats - driver, passenger, and pedestal seats.
