Garage storage for 17' Series??
I'm new to the forum, so if this is a repeat question, I apologize. I am looking to downsize from a 22' Bay boat to a garage-sized boat. I have 19'-10" door-to-wall and wonder if the 17' Logic w/ a swing tongue trailer will fit. The 15' will work if not, but I would prefer the longer boat. Thanks in advance to anyone with the measurements! Adam.

Garage storage
I have a 2004 170 Bass with a 60 hp 4 stroke Yamaha with a Magictilt trailer with a swingaway tongue. My max length in my garage was 19' 6" and my boat fits nicely. I do tilt my motor down when storing. With the swingaway tongue on my Magictilt trailer, it only adds a few inches to the overall length of the boat. If I remember correctly, the boat had a Performance trailer with a swingaway trailer when I looked at it at the dealer but the Performance trailer swingaway was way up the trailer tongue and added too much length
to the overall length. The dealer agreed at that time to give me a Magictilt trailer with a swingaway that didnt add alot to the overall length. Dave K Sarasota, Fl. |

My 17' fits at an angle
I have a 17 Bass on an ez loader trailer. Not sure how deep my garage is, but with the engine down (75hp Merc) I can get it into the garage if I angle it a little bit. My hitch clears the door by about four inches. Sure beats paying the boatyard to store it. I do all my own winterization too and in the Spring I will do all the lubing and oil change. I save about $500 a year this way.
