water holding in floor compartment in 00' 186

I have water holding in compartments under grey covers in my floor.
I took back to Travis Boating in Buford,GA before warranty expired, and they
removed covers and recaulked arouns gaskets, but water is still getting in.
Has anyone else had this problem.
Those should have been made to drain into bilge area if water gets in.
What about removing covers and boring a hole in rear,so that water will drain into bilge area?

My 02 Bay 190 has holes in the back part of them. I also sealed them up with elastomeric after adding double the number of ss screws holding them down after using a countersink.

hole locations

Can you be more specific about location of holes, diameter?
Also, what size screws did you add between existing screws?
Thanks

Remove one of the existing screws and take it to Lowes or HomeDepot and buy the same number that you already have holding down the grey running boards. Buy a countersink to set the screw heads flush to the deck. Add the new screws halfway btwn the existing ones after injecting some elastomeric in there first.
I want to think the drain holes where fairly small, maybe 1/4" with one each in the transome end at the lowest place.
