Exclamation 190 bay hull deformities

I am still looking at a 2004 190 bay, and I noticed that the hull on the port and starboard sides near the bow has a dent while it is sitting on the trailor. Is this normal, or is the hull getting weak in those points? Is this just the design of the hull? If it is supposed to flex, will that cause it to weaken and then crack? Please reply if you know anything about this issue.

Thanks,

LA fisherman

After Researching This Very Subject I Have Found Out The Hull Deflections Are Perfectly Normal. My Boat Has Them But It Does Not Affect The Manuverability Of The Boat. It Is What It Is. Ill Admit I Didnt Like Them At First But The Boat Is Super In Every Other Way So Ill Live With It.

Their have been several discussions on this topic along with some of the fixes like this for example Crack in Hull with some of them being caused by trailer bunk placement even to inculde some of the factory suppled trailers... To save time though, the site search tool is your biggest friend when trying to locate such information

Some of The Newer Boats now have a front support on the trailer. To aid in support for the sagging prone roperlene if not supported just right. The problem is older boats after the SAG/blem /dent /crack ect. Has occured. Will the added trailer support stop it from getting worse? But the areas that have been Strained and Stressed have been stretched buy that Stress? How do you Un stretch them and put the Original strength back in. No way that I know of.
Yes they do weld them. But as any good welder will tell you. The weakest point is now next to the weld. Unless the area is reinforced and the cause of the Material weakness is corrected. Roperlene can be a great product. But only with proper workmanship and design does. Triumph have it ????? You decide
