JR,
I just took delivery of a new '04 190 Bay with a 90 Johnson 2 stroke. I fish mainly Pamlico Sound and inshore NC waters. Boat is pretty stock with a finder/depth, bimini, swim platform, & front platform cover. Real pleased so far, but I only have about 10 hours on her. Took her to Cape Lookout last Thursday and got into the Albies. So far, so good! Sully |

JR - Is your trolling motor on the bow or transom? If on the bow, did you rig something to get around the bow rail - or do you not have a bow rail?
I've been considering a trolling motor, but have a bow rail in the way. I'm fine without a trolling motor as I spend 99% of my time in the salt of LI Sound. But I've increasingly been taking day trips to fresh water lakes where a trolling motor is almost a necessity. |

Man sounds like you've been busy.
Im, a new owner of a 2005 190bay with 115 4s Yami Traded in a 2000 Logic 17cc with Merc 90 2s please tell me about your 1. Raw water wash down system with curly hose mounted inside the bait well access plate. 2. Jump seat hinge blocks that allow access to compartments below. 3. Tackle storage system to center console. Pic's would be great |

TM is bow mount and I do not have a bow rail. The deploy mechanism of the Minn-Kota is based on a sliding shaft rather than a 4 bar linkage. When installed on the bow with a bow rail I suppose you could slide the unit all the way out before swinging it down into the deployed position. We will probably need to hear from others that have attempted this to confirm my theory. Be sure you install it on the factory mount, you will not be disappointed. JR |

ReelDive,
I have all the text ready but I can't install my pictures. When I figure that out I will be happy to provide all of the information. Hey Mr. Manager, how do we upload images? Thanks for any help. JR |

Hi all. I'm not really happy with the Photo Gallery program and am working on a new option there. Currently you have to register on the Forums, the Photo Gallery, the Chat and the Classified sections. I am going to fix this in the next few days so you will only have to register on the forums and then the same login will work across all sections of the site. Sorry for this temporary incovenience. But right now you can just register on the Photo Gallery section with your same username and password that you used on the forums. Once you register on the Photo Gallery you will be able to upload images. It is pretty simple to do that. We only have a couple of pictures there right now and I will back up any photos there when I do make the software change.
I wish I'd had time to integrate all these programs but I felt it was more important to get the forums up and running right away and then integrate the other offerings as we go. I hope you all agree. |

Emery,
The best livewell timer I have found is an adjustable model made by Flo-Rite. It is Bass Pro product number 38-579-307-00. It has a 30 second on cycle and a variable off cycle of 5 seconds to 5-1/2 minutes. My hearing is not very good so I installed and wired in a red LED in the panel next to the timer, I can now see when the pump is working. There is a switch in your console for the washdown pump and it is also labeled that way. It is a two function (double pole double throw) switch with off in the center. One way is your livewell and the other way is the washdown. I wired the livewell timer hot and bypassed the switch. Actually I used that half of the switch to power my stereo. Can't listen to the radio and wash down the deck at the same time. JR |
