Davey,
Unless they really bother you, I wouldn't mess with them. Nothing is hurt except the cosmetics. If you really need to remove them there are several threads on this site that discuss the matter. Use the search feature on the toolbar. Plastic welder, some roplene and a little TLC should have you looking good as new.

I would leave it, it gives you something to brag about, and of course allways good conversation piece.
my boat has lots of scatches, some deep, some not so deep, all in the nose from beaching her. I use that as bragging rights.
