Hull Repair

I was running wot in ther river when i hit a submurged log , would have destroyed any other boat. but did put a couple of deep gouges in the hull. Any suggestions on how i can repair the damage? The gouge is approximately 1/16 of an inch deep and 6 t0 8 feet long. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Any one know how thick the hull is? Thanks in Advance
Davey

Davey,
Unless they really bother you, I wouldn't mess with them. Nothing is hurt except the cosmetics. If you really need to remove them there are several threads on this site that discuss the matter. Use the search feature on the toolbar. Plastic welder, some roplene and a little TLC should have you looking good as new.

I would leave it, it gives you something to brag about, and of course allways good conversation piece. my boat has lots of scatches, some deep, some not so deep, all in the nose from beaching her. I use that as bragging rights.
