Inner Hull drains, 190 Bay

Dick
I have read all the threads and would like to install the drains on my 2000 190 Bay. What parts do I need to order? An extra plug, for sure. Is there a sleeve that needs to be installed, with inner threads for the plug?
Ifyou haven't already, maybe you could print up some installation instructions (illustrated, hopefully!) and provide them with the parts.

Triumph dealers are few and far between in Texas. Don't know any current dealers within 150 miles of Joshua Tx. I would just as soon order my parts as go on a road trip for them.

Thanks
Rick

Rick, The drain is easy to install. Both the Plastic and SS plugs have a base that's attached to the hull. The plug just screws in. There are many posts and pictures on this site that shows the installation. By the way, I thought that, 150 miles to a Texan is "just down the road a piece".

Thanks for the response. I talked to Carl a few weeks ago, steered me in the right direction. I installed the hull drain a few days ago. No problem. Incidentally, I don't think more than a tablespoon or two of water has leaked out.
He also helped me out getting the EZ Loader trailer mod (bow support) kit from Triumph. It should be here any day now.

As for 150 miles, you are correct- to go fishing it is just down the road a piece. But I sure like ordering parts the easy way!

Thanks again
Rick

You might try Fun & Sun in Granbury TX. That is where I bought my 04 190CC. While they don't sell the Triumph line anymore they do support them and are qualified to do repairs on them.
