Trailer bow Support

Just got the trailer bow support mod kit from Triumph. I would like to install it this weekend. Has anyone installed this mod kit? I am wondering if I will need to change the position of the winch mount- it looks like the kit will lift the boat up- if so,how much?

Thanks
Rick

You will need to install the bow support with the boat off the trailer. The way the front support is designed it will only fit in one place on the trailer frame. While the boat is off the trailer would be a good time to make the rough adjustments to the winch. Do you have the bulletin on this from the factory? If you don’t, I do and I can send it to you if you send me your e-mail address. It has the dimensions you need to make the adjustments. Let me know.
Luck and beers.
JR

Thanks for the reply. I launched the boat last Saturday and installed the bow support while the boat was docked. When I loaded up, the bow eye location (in relation to the winch location and angle) had not changed; therefore the bow support did not lift the front end up as I had anticipated.
No I don't have any bulletin from the factoryregarding the winch- the bow support hardware came with installation instructions but no winch angle/location info.

I would appreciate an email
Thanks
Rick
