Hey Dave 4104,I wish I had a contact for a new hull.the dealer in west palm has had the boat for about 2 months and still waiting for a call to pick it up.I run the st.johns river on the north end, and having a fit to go fishin. We baby the boat so we were suprised to see the crack in the boat.I guess sometimes the new tech stuff isnt as good as the old fiberglass hulls.

you are not alone!!!!!!!!

I have an identical crack on my 2002 190 Bay. For now, I sealed it big time with Rule.

I got in contact with Triumph and they directed me to Merritt Marine. It turns out that my boat qualifies for a retrofit kit to send deck water out the back just like the new boats have it. My boat is there right now. This is quite a drive from PA, but well worth it. I'm not the first to say it, but Carl and his crew are wonderful to deal with.(They love their Triumph Boats)

From what I was told

I was told from Triumph that they will retrofit the side-scuppers to a floor drain system which drains to scuppers in the rear at the transom. They plan to drill a hole or two in the bottum of the hull to drain out excess water. I have an inner hull drain already--guess they suspect there is water entrapment. In addition, they plan to re-seal the "bannan peels"---which likely caused 99% of the water intrusion..

I have had mine at Rough Water Marine since January. The crack was fixed and reinforced, scuppers rerouted but the new bow support was backordered for quit some time.
Maybe the boat will be ready this week as they promised last Wed and when we got there on Thurs they hadn't started on the bow support add on.

Nice folks at RoughWater but not sure how competant they are....their last fixed had to be redone by Triumph.

I don't mind much in the winter, keeps one more thing out of the carport but the cobia run and snapper season is coming up fast.

The side scuppers of the older 190s and Logic 186s have been a real pain in our dry boat loving back sides. I don't suppose Triumph offers a retrofit for Logics as well?

Once I added the ball in cage scuppers, mine has been fairly dry. That along with resealing the whole deck with Rule, got the bilge dry until I started getting back siphoning thru the bilge thru hull.
Triumph sent a scupper to fit over the thru hull......I got to test alot of improvements this season! I just want my boat back.
