Re-attack Floor drains

Dick I never received any hits on this so I figured I should go to one who knows.
What issues would I run into if I placed thru deck floor drains below the rear scupper areas? I believe the size should be .25 line diameters with .75 drain cage covers which would take care of the scupper issues totally which I wish did not exist in the first place like so many others. I have the equipment available to perform a mod of this sort but do not know what the minimum degree angle that should be used to ensure a zero hull breach or support damage issue. Thoughts are welcome sir as would be any diagrams or pictures of a hull design of a 19 Bay 2002 model.

spritz05, I would not attempt to install hull drains the way you are talking about. All of the mods we have done, weld the side drains closed and have a pipe installed that goes out thru the transom. I modified my 02 bay and it works much better going out the back. I think someone has posted pictures of this change.
