Nocturn: I am patiently waiting to take delivery. Stopped at the dealer last week and it had just arrived in a shipment the previous Friday.

Will post photos and my evaluation of the T-top as soon as possible.

Hope that I get it before May 12. That is the day we leave for Seattle for a two week small ship cruise to Juneau.

Tight lines,
John

When you get it on the boat, you should post some photos here as well as at the Fishmaster site! Good way to help promote Triumph Boats.

Thumbs up Love It!!!!!!!

I took delivery of my new Triumph 190 Bay yesterday. The Fishmaster T-Top is great. They did have to shim under the feet but it is solid as a rock. I had wanted an enclosure made up but the person that was supposed to do it is very ill.
Wayne, Felicia and the staff at Hooked On The Bay are fantastic. I really appreciated the attention that they paid to the detail in explaining all the
features as well as suggestions to get the most out of your Triumph.

I was able to get on the water at Charlestown yesterday afternoon to work at breaking the Honda 90 in at 2000 to 3000 RPM'S for about 4 hours.
I stayed overnight at a local motel so I could spend today fishing. At 7:30 AM I launched at Tydings Marina in Havre De Grace and as I cleared the Marina my Garmin 176C GPS went blank. Not a good thing when you are fishing the Flats. I fished and ran hard for about 4 hours. The boat handled the chop nicely. I was really pleased that I did not get soaked with spray from my wake.

My 17' Logic CC was a nice handling boat but the 190 Bay is so superior that there is NO COMPARISON. Love all the storage with locks.
The fishing was totally uneventful, so I elected to return home about noon. My 2004 Cheve Tahoe did not even know that we were pulling the boat.

I plan on taking some detailed photos of the Fish Master fold down T-Top this weekend along with some full shots of the finished boat and posting them.

I was very surprised by the numbers of boaters and people at the ramps that came up and asked a lot of questions about my boat and the admiration that they had for it. Made me feel that buying the Triumph 190 Bay was the right thing to do.

Thumbs up Photos of my new 190 Bay & Fold Down T-Top

The Fishmaster Fold Down T-Top allows me to park my 190 Bay without cutting down a large Blue Spruce tree. It is a solid T-Top and very well built.
With the T-Top in the folded down position, I can easily cover it with a large Tarp. It takes me about 5 to 10 minutes to put the top up and fully secure it.

Thanks for your patience.

John

Thumbs up Nice Top

Awesome top.
I started this post back in December and didn't make a move. Stuck with my Bimini . I do have a few questions.
Was the cost $1200 as stated in a previous post?
What did Hooked charge to install?
Did they thru bolt into the deck? Backing plates or other special hardware?
How do you Tow, in upright position or folded?
If upright how did it affect towing while on the highway?
I love my 190 bay . it fishes great and towing behind an Expedition is like its not even attached.
I do tow on i95, rt1 and 113 . Now i can easily average 65ish mph. Would that T affect highway speed?

Thanks ,
and Great looking Rig!

Mike

Ps: hitting the flats on Tuesday at sunrise. Me and 3 other friends. Look for another 190. Turkey Point and Rocky Point.

Thumbs up

Mike: The cost was as advertized. I also bought 2 additional rocket launchers (Rod holders). I mounted one on each side on the rear vertical support of the console just above the horizontal support to facilitate handling the rod while trolling if I am by myself.

I had Hooked On The Bay add a Fariah Fuel Flow Meter, A Todd Electronics Box, run wiring to electronics box for my VHF radio, and also run wiring and Transducer cables for my GPS and FF. They did not break down the costs.

They mounted the T-Top to the floor using screws and the appropriate adhesive for Roplene. They did recommend that I consider having SS braces welded on the front frame and run diagonally to the console to give it additional support when towing. They had to use thin shims under the front supports. They are not noticeable.

I towed it in the upright position for approximately 2 hours at speeds up to 65 mph. There was no effect on the towing and everything was solid and secure when I arrived home.

Tight lines,
John
