Question on T-top

J Keeler,

I have enjoyed reading all your information on the fishmaster top. Please take a look at my question under post #26 if you get a chance. I really would like to know how hard the top is to raise / lower, if one person can do it easily. Thanks alot!

Thumbs up

I will be 70 in November and I have no problems lowering or raising my Fishmaster T-Top by myself. Typically it takes me about 10 minutes to do this either way and secure it. I also have my instrument box loaded as well as my T-Bag to add to the weight.
Hope this helps.
John

One last question

John Keeler.

My garage door is 8' tall so the 190 bay would fit fine at 7'-8" tall sitting on the trailer. From the pictures of your T-top laid down, it looks like the T-top aluminum posts may actually be higher than the top of the center console grab handle. If the posts are truly 4" taller than the grab handle it will be a problem for me. When you get a chance, would you take a look and see if this is truly the case or if it is just the angle the picture is taken at? I would surely appreciate it. Thanks for your help.

Wade

Wade: The grab handles on my 190 Bay are on the side of my console below the top of the dash. I presume that you mean the rail that runs over the top of the windshield.

When the top is fully down, the rear legs are about the same height as the windshield rail. If this is a concern, then you can avoid this by not lowering the top all the way, resting it on a block or support so that the angle of the legs are closer to horizontal.

If you look carefully at the photo of my boat with the top down, you will see what I am referring to.

Smile Thanks!

John,

Thanks for the additional picture. From that angle it is easy to see that the legs shouldn't be much higher than the bar over the windshield. You helped me make my decision.

Thanks for the information,

Wade

Wade: You are welcome. I hope you enjoy your boat and T-top as much as I enjoy mine.

Best regards,
John
