Drain plug removal
I found it hard to remove the drain plgs on my Bay 190 for three reasons.
First of all my knees are shot , secondly the drains are positioned right on the center bunks of the trailer, and it is a bit of a reach to get at the plugs. What I did to make this easier is to take an 8" section of 1/2" id PVC pipe and cut a 5/8 deep by 1/4 inch wide notch in the end. This notch is slipped over the "thumb tab" on the drain plug. This enables me to easily to get a good grip on the drain plug and I don't have to climb halfway under the boat to get at them. |

Love the idea Frank (my bunks though are clear of my drains) but we will have to go hit the flats together some time
