Yup!!! The exact same spo. Try putting the trailer a little further down the ramp befor loading and then manually loading the boat with the wench. The problem is the brass through-hual on the bait-well intake, I tore mine up by driveing the boat onto the trailer when loading.

Congrats now get them striper.
Chip,
I also own a 190bay. Its a 2006 with a yamaha 115. We love it and can't say enough about her. I purchased it at 113 boat sales in DE because its 15 min away from my place at the beach , The owners are great and they had great prices. We did go to Hooked and i would have bought from them if they were more local. Mostly fish for summer flounder, trout, croaker and rock around OC Md. This year was my first time on the flats around the upper chesapeake bay. What a great area, we just need the fish to bite. I did 3 trips this year on the flats and only have caught catfish and perch. Here is my post from tuesday 5/1 off of tidalfish.com........great site for local info. Flats 5/1 Tuesday report—No Stripers caught Left the North East River around 6:05am. Went down to Turkey Point and Picked a spot (.2 mile from light and toward the flats). Had an Incoming tide with several marks off the bottom, mostly in 12-8 feet of water and breaking fish on top. Fish were showing on the sounder most of the morning. Breaking fish were visible in the early am. As soon as we set-up the clouds rolled in from the west and gave us a 20 min. light shower (enough to get everything wet). Water temp was around 60-61 degrees. Used live Herring, Herring chunks and of course, everything we could throw out of the tackle box (Big top water, jigs, BA and several rattle mid level lures). At first light we had about 3 boats around us with about 10 further up North. Our first hit was a Nice size Catfish. Moved around but stayed on the eastern side. Fished Rocky Point close into the flats (about 3-4ft water) with the same results. Total count for the day was 4 Catfish and two perch. My crew fished their butts off. It wasn’t for a lack of trying. We had 7 rods going most of the day with 4 guys aboard. Didn’t see anyone else catch a fish. Left the water around 2:00pm. The crowd really thinned out by noon (only a few guys out in the area. If we stayed I would have gone up in the Susquehanna. All in all GREAT DAY ON THE WATER! Good Luck All |
