new member question

i just joined the site and bought a 2002 190 bay with a 140 suzuki 4 stroke. great site lots of information .can i put a lift bracket for a 9.9 hp motor on the back? any ideas would be welcomed.

Welcome Drummer,

A few 210 owners have mounted kicker motor brackets on their boats. Search for "kicker" and you should see those. I don't know about the 190 and how you might accomplish the mount. It will likely take some ingenuity on your part.

Believe It Will Be A Warranty Issue For The 190 ---if You Have Side Scuppers The Added Weight Is For Sure Gonna Be An Issue Esp With The 140. My '01 With A 115 Yami 4s Constantly Kept 2-4 Inches Of Water On The Deck And Would Not Drain Due To The Weight
