I need a part

OK, While trailering my boat, the door on the port side in the rear came open and part of it flew off. It is the door that if you flip it open there are seats under it and if you lift it up all the way you can get to the storage area behind the seat. Well the piece that I need is the 4" or 5" peice that has the rubber nub on it that the rubber strap hooks to. You know the back side of this piece has a small cushion that is the seat back when it is open.

Anyway I called me dealer and Triupmh told them that you have to buy the whole door (all 3 pieces) with the hinges. Plus they said that since my boat is an 05 that they do not make those style doors any longer.I would have to buy 2 sets to match.

Can anybody help me? I don't want to buy a whole door assembly at $200 plus have to buy 2 sets just to match.

Also this is not the first time they have come open on me..any body else have this problem?

It is starting to sound like I rep Merritt Marine but I don't. They just have the largest inventory of Triumph Boat parts that I know of. Call Dick Cabble at Merritt Marine 919-732-7377 to see if they can help.

I just wanted to say publicly that Dick helped me out with the part. He had the exact part I needed, even cheaper than the dealer I normally go to. I would reccomend him to anyone. Shipped it to me right away!

I would say Dick at Merrit is the best for any parts or questions about Triumph boats. He has helped me out a few times.
