In the trencher business, we deal with cracks in steel and weld all the time. Unless it happened to be a bad weld (in steel) in the first place, welding a crack is only a temporary fix and mostly cosmetic. If the underlying problem is not fixed also, the crack will eventually return. Additional structure is often needed to insure a proper fix. I think you are doing everything you need to do at this point Emery. Just keep in mind that if the dealer is not fixing the underlying problem your crack could return. I guess if I were you I would be asking a lot of questions. I wish you the best of luck.
