Fuel-Water seperator location???

I have a 2002 190 Bay--purchased used last year. For the life of me I cannot find the fuel water seperator. I called the factory and they said whomever rigged the boat added the seperator--they don't do it at the factory. I suspect that this boat does not have one---but before I write it off--thought I would see if anyone could tell me where it is located (on thers) . Unless the filter is under the floor, my boat does not have one.

You probably do not have one. I had one added in the starboard rear hatch area.

There are several threads on how to add and pics, use the Search....one of the simplest improvements you can do yourself and becoming more necessary with ethanol'ed gas.

large Suzuki (Racor most likely) with clear bowl for a Zuke DF140

Depending on what type of engine you have, you may have a little one under the cowling. Its a in-line fuel filter that seperates some water from the fuel.

Thats probably not what you're talking about though.

I have a 191 and added a seperator in the rear of the battery compartment. My fuel line was already there to the motor harness.

I placed mine in the compartment just aft of the port side jump seat. I didn't want it to be exposed in the splashwell.
