Scupper repair leaking

I purchased a 2002 190 Bay a few monthes back and have been having a problem trying to find out how water was getting in the well of my boat. I have finely decided that the water is intering the belge pump when the pump is not running. Then I noticed a small crack in the perimeter of the hole area where the scubber use to be. Looks as if it could be taking on a lot of water from this point. Any ideas of how to fix this crack?

Post some pics if you can.

2002 Bay 190 leak check and mods.

1) side scupper holes: use ball in cage scuppers and/or plug with yellow foam
practice golf balls untill needed to drain.
2) need a flapper or ball in cage scupper over the bilge thru hull on the
transom due to "back siphoning" of the pump while in 3 minute rest cycle.
This is where most of my water was coming into the bilge.
3) yes, have any "cracks" in hull repaired by dealer and request the transom
scupper re-route modification and bow support.
4) water check other thru hulls with boat on trailer using water hose
5) check hoses and hose clamps to bilge and baitwell and check main
shut off valve.

Can someone post a part number/place to purchase a ball in cage scupper for the bilge pump outflow??? One that has been used and is made soundly?

Thanks!

I actually saw them on the Cabelas web site the other day when I was looking for a check valve.

Smile scupper leak on 2002 hull

I owned a 2002 Hull and the scupper hole developed a crack......the crack had been repaired as I could see where they had tried to mend the hole........the crack spread and the factory ended up replacing my hull with a 2005 hull............as you can imagine I was very happy.........the reason they replaced the hull is because of the patch and being sold as a new hull........

just had my 02 warranty repair/retrofit. they cut out the side scuppers and welded ropelene in their place and installed new scuppers in the transom with the intake holes mounted about 1" up frfom the deck and 1 foot inside from the gunwhales. Seems ok--the 02's had lots and lots of problems. there where 4 other o2's ahead of mine at the shop with similar rerpairs needed. I would not by another triumph--I may go back to aluminum!!
