Wink center consoul rod holders

My 2007 190 bay center cconsol rod holders hold water.....the caps are there but they are not down during wash down....sooo water gets in.. has someone corrected this by drain holes? to the deck or to the bilg?

Mine drains, all but one. What I found was that some rods have a cover that slips over the bottom of the rod to hide the four sloted base for the trolling holders. Shoving a rodin a holder with this cover on sometimes causes the cover to stay in the rod holder after you remove the rod.

Look into it with a flashlight and see if there is not a plastic rod-end cover stuck in there. It is soooo easy to do by accident.
