Console Rod Holders
Need a idea ... Unlike our old 210 years ago and my idea of cutting plastic rod holders to secure rods from flopping all around (which would work again). I need some input on doing the same for the 190.
Problem is if I use the same system as before (see pictures in the 210 upgrade section on the old system I cooked up) then I loose my ability to "cover" the 190's rod holders with the factory covers to slow down water getting into them?
Was thinking (if I could find it) of mounting to the grab rail using wire ties, some of that rubber rod holder material you see in tackle shops when they have a bunch of rods on a display rack... Problem is finding the stuff?
Anybody else cooked up a way to secure rods in the console of a 190? Need to mount up and have handy the Tarpon sticks quickly, this since the Poons are back and I am flat out of horizontal rod space.
Thanks!
