good luck on your quest for repairs/new hull...By boat has always tension on the eye, as it should. It is there for a reason, to hold down the boat.

I always release the tension on mine when it's sitting in the yard!

I release the tension on my 215 while in the yard as well. I've not heard of this problem before but I'm sure your Triumph dealer will work with you to repair it or whatever is necessary.

hull eye pulled out of 2002 190 Bay

Yes, I have pictures of this being pulled out(Attached). The dealer who sold me my boat no longer carries the Thriumph brand so I am working through another dealer who still sells the brand. They are on their third try at a repair and needless to say I am a little worried.

Was the 190 purchased used or new? Do you have the lifetime hull warranty? If the dealer you are working with is unable to get you satisfaction with the fix I would call Triumph support directly.

hull eye pulled out of 2002 190 Bay

I purchased the boat new and I do have the lifetime warranty on the boat. I have been talking to the dealer and the factory as well. I hope no one has to go through the mess I have had to go through to try to get this fixed.

What kind of trailer is it sitting on? I ask because the set-up looks different than what I am used to seeing...might also help me make sure I don't have problems in the future.

Thanks,
Bill

I have the same year 190 that I bought new, and if that happened to my boat under normal use, and it was repaired and was not successful, I would scream and yell until I was given a new hull !!!
