Well, I can say that Triumph 190 Bay's are very under-represented out here in the Pacific Northwest. I just bought my 2006 2 months ago, and so far I've only met one person who said they saw another Bay out here (probably just saw me!)
Anyway, I love my new boat. At 3800 RPM, I am cruising about 21 knots and only using a bit over 2 GPH. Much improved over my heavy Sea Ray that guzzled fuel at 8 GPH. I have yet to see how fast this boat will really go (trying to break the engine in easy). As a new Bay owner, I have a few questions you "old hands" can help me with. 1. Best way of getting all the "crud" that accumulates out the scuppers when I'm washing down the boat? 2. How hard is it to install a swim step? Something an absolute novice can do? 3. T-Tops---are they worth it? Should I consider a removeable one instead to facilitate storage in the winter? 4. Best site to buy a console cover--best cover for the least bucks. This new owner says THANKS in advance! JB |
