Trolling Motor
I have a 2003 190 DC. I want to install a trolling motor. What size shaft do I need? What thrust is the best for this boat? Do I need the Triumph Motor mount, or are there other options?I have a 140hp 4 stroke Suzuki. My speedomitor does not start recording until I get to about 4,000RPM. I think I might be having a cavation problem with the pick up tube. Anyone else having this problem?

Chief , forgot to mention that I have the factory mount. I like it as it cuts out flexing and twisting of the base and I feel it is a more solid mount then directly to the bow. I have seen some mounts homemade from starboardthat seemed to do just as good a job, and considerably cheaper.
Regarding your speedo check to make sure it is not partially blocked ........Steve |

Trolling Motor
I have an '03 190Bay with a MK Riptide 65AP with a 60" shaft. I have only had a problem with the shaft length in about 2-3 foot chop. I did install on a factory mount as well.
