Where to mount the fire extinguisher

On the newer models they no longer have the recess under the glove box. Would like to hear where some of you have mounted your fire extinguisher.

Thanks,

Bob

One option is to use large hose clamps and clamp the fire extinguisher bracket to the railing underneath the center console seat. There's enough room under there to still get the cooler lid open as well.

Ace, That's a good idea, would not have thought of that. However, I like the storage unit that someone (MolarBoater I think) made to put under the leaning post. I may want to do something like that in the near future.

Do you want to add another fire extingusher for safety reasons. Or did yall's boat not come with one?

I think he's just trying to figure out the best place to mount the fire extiunguisher that came with the boat. They don't come mounted. Just in box with all the safety equipment.

Yep, I purchased my own safety gear so fire extinguisher was not mounted. Sorry Dunno, I didn't read your post correctly the first time. So your dealer mounted yours in the console. That is the best place IMO...Protects it from the elements. Just wasn't sure if CG approved...

I don't believe the dealer did it, I thought Triumph did it but who knows. But yea, anyways mine is clamped on. It is mounted to the wiring panel above the gas tank.

I don't have a camera or else I would take a picture for you.
