Securing cooler on top of battery storage

I like the idea of having a big cooler positioned on top of the battery storage - at the base of the bow casting deck - on the 190 Bay. What is a good way to secure the cooler, so that it won't bounce around? I'd like to put an eye bolt on either side - near the cupholders. I could use toggle bolts, but I am not sure if anything important would be affected if I drilled there.
