Great Molar, I'm glad Triumph stepped up for you for the repair. Better now than in boating season.
I have a 2001 and have had no cracks. My hull just has scars from "bumping" into things. That's why I love my "worlds toughest boat". Just like a Timex.

Thumbs up

Molarboater, glad to hear Triumph stepped up to the plate to repair your boat. In my opinion, Triumph is definitely trying to help their current boatowners, as well as to imporove their product. It is also my opinion that Boatowners.net has helped in assisting Triumph Boats in recognizing boat defects, as well as to push them to improve their product.

I originally had an 01 logic that developed cracks fwd due to improper kiss off points. Triumph tried repair than replaced hull. Can't say enough good things about Paul Miller and group. I belive along with early design flaws part of the problem was/is dealers still not truly familar with ropolene tech. My original dealer truly did not understand the boats.

scupper hole cracks

I purchased a 2002 190 Bay in 2002 and the scupper hole cracked on the starboard side........when I looked closer I could see that a patch had already be done............I worked with the factory and my Dealer, which was Pelican Harbor in Palm Bay Florida.................Guess what I was given a 2005 hull to replace my hull..............the reason it should not have been sold as new with a patch............I thought I had an issolated incident...............Triumph should help you as they did with me.........good luck..............Ellie

Well, just got back into town and haven't had time to post an update.

Boat was delivered back to my driveway 2-12-08......Shrink wrapped (luv that stuff as a winter cover!), crack fixed and hull indentation-gone!, scupper mod redone with a much better quality finish. Triumph finally quit using the black tar shingle adhesive for the grey running boards and went with what I have used for years, Rule Elastomeric. Heck, they even replaced my boat winch with one that sits a little lower (and not bent!).

I haven't been able to take the cover off or see the boat in the daylight but so far, THANK YOU TRIUMPH for the door to door warranty service and improving my boat beyond what you needed to do. You over delivered and that should be BIG in anyone's decision on whether to own a Triumph boat.

Can't wait till the lakes fill back up with water to go for a test ride, Molar.

MolarBoater, glad to hear that Triumph made all those repairs to your boat. It's good to know that the manufacturer is making every effort to take care of the imperfections of the earlier model boats, and to know that they are striving to improve their product.
