Dick, Ever Installed Trim Tabs on a 186?

Dick,

I would like to know if you have ever installed hydraulic tabs on a 186. If so, how much would it cost me.

Thanks

Mike

Mike, We have not put trim tabs on a 186/190 I think it could be done, however, I would use the Lenco Electric over Hydraulic, only because it's easier to run the wires than Hydraulic lines and pump.

Mike...
I installed a set of SmartTabs on my 15 Fish! Works great. Had to go this route because of 2 Labs that walk around while under way...
the SmartTabs are spring actuated and wrench adjustable. Also moved my battery up under console for "centering" weight. Powered by Honda 50HP and was a little stern heavy. Fine now.
