Question water in bilge

I took my new 190 bay with a 150 etec out for its first spin last week, I was very impressed. Had some prop blow out on sharpe turns but that is to be expected with the low dead rise.I rally did not notice any transom back wash but was surprised to find that when i pulled the plugs a little more than a quart of water came out of the bilge. Any ideas as to the source. Yes the fish box plugs were in place. I did run the wash down and live well however.

Take A Close Look At The Transom Drain Plugs ,esp. If It Is The Sea Dawgs With The Red Washers. I Was Never To Close Them Good Enough To Keep Water From Coming Back In . I Ended Up Putting Orings In Front Of The Washers To Get A Better Seal. The Brass Garboard Style With Square Head Plugs Is The Way To Go
